Humanistic counselling adopts a holistic approach that focuses on, your potential and your capacity to grow and change in a positive way.  The individual sessions are a confidential space to explore your feelings, find meaning, and focus on your individual strengths while understanding how your past affects your present feelings and behaviours.

We understand that counselling may not be an easy process, sharing emotional and difficult situations and feelings can be daunting as well as finding ways to change which may bring mixed feelings, but with the support of our therapists we will endeavour to find the way forward that is right for you.

Most people will experience situations in life that are hard to overcome.  Sometimes we need additional support to that of our friends and family.  Areas we work with include   Bereavement, Loss, Trauma, Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Anger, Self-harm, Relationship issues, Sex & sexuality, Self-esteem / self-worth, Confidence, Personal development, Work issues, Health / ill health.

We offer Individual face-to-face 50-minute sessions for adults and adolescents, tailored to the needs of each client in a compassionate and sensitive way. Each session is in our confidential safe-space and allows you to openly explore feelings, reflect and gain a better understanding of the self and emotional well-being that can help to inform change and improve self-worth and self-esteem.
