Veronica Lim is a registered nutritional therapist specialising in hormonal and digestive health. Whether it’s fatigue, brain fog, bloating, IBS, migraine, depression, weight gain or menopausal symptoms, the aim is always to identify the possible root causes that could be contributing to those health issues and to rebalance the body for optimal health.
Veronica is also the UK’s 1st Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach. With over 20 years’ coaching experience, she is uniquely placed to help her clients to implement positive changes that last for the long-term.
As a child, one of her favourite books was, “Tell Me Why,” and when she was nine, she found herself fascinated as she pored over the pages of her aunt’s midwifery book. She had wanted to be a gynaecologist, but life took her down a different path. Instead, she qualified as a chartered accountant, then worked in investment banking before changing careers to become an executive coach.
Fast forward to many years later, reading a book about food and biochemistry was the “tell me why” or the “behind the food” that opened up a deeper glimpse into the world of hormones. The doors to a deep passion were thrown open. This led her to spend over five years completing her clinical Diploma with distinction and BSc (Hons) degree in Nutritional Therapy with First Class Honours, a journey that she started when she was 51.
Now, she feels privileged to witness the profound changes to her clients’ lives, as they take back their health and live life more fully.
Veronica is registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council, and a member of both The British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine (BANT) and the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM). She has been a past tutor to second year diploma students in Nutritional Therapy at her nutrition college (BCNH) and is an active volunteer for BANT.
