Fiona Carruthers first qualified as a sports massage therapist in 2007 achieving her VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy. She then advanced to an ITEC level 4 Certificate in Sports Massage
Therapy in 2014 to increase her knowledge and skill set.
Fiona has previously worked and managed clinics in Australia during a working holiday in 2011, which helped her transition from part time to full time massage therapy. On her return she worked in a bodybuilding gym alongside a busy chiropractic clinic.
In 2015 Fiona completed her BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Clinical Sports and Remedial Massage Therapy, the skills learned on this course enabled her to work not only within the sport and leisure industry, but also to work with other client bases unrelated to sports injuries: for example, work and occupational musculoskeletal and soft tissue injuries.
